Hold onto your running shoes, folks! The World Marathon Majors family has grown. As of November 3, 2024, the Sydney Marathon has officially joined the ranks, becoming the seventh World Marathon Major!
- Sydney Marathon (August): With its stunning course showcasing the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, the Sydney Marathon adds a breathtaking Down Under experience to the WMM circuit. Its first race as a Major will take place on August 31, 2025. This exciting addition opens up a whole new continent for Six Star hopefuls!
The Ultimate Goal: The Six (Now Seven!) Star Finisher Medal
Imagine the pride of crossing the finish line of your sixth (or now seventh!) World Marathon Major.
